Yeah, I forget that only Garret and maybe possibly Aaron might know the truth about Wheatley’s past, so that’s a good point too. Not only that but besides Dr. Dillion’s medical knowledge it’s good to get a male perspective on a few things biologically speaking. He knows more about being a man than Chell would, and she’d trust him enough to show him a bit of the ropes. That sort starts making him like an older brother in a way (though Wheatley is twice his senior much like Chell is chronologically).
Oh gosh yes. Though Foxglove can be naive, she’s got the whole internet to loot through to tell her that drinking water would be a baaaad idea. Though I’d totally imagine him trying to introduce her to the various animal life around town as an educational experience, only to have the animals sense she’s not human and run away/attack or encouraging her tendency to ask questions however inappropriate they might seem. Yeah you’re right, either Chell or Garret might have to be present to prevent incidents from happening.

Seconding this! Can you imagine them, exchanging good-natured banter? And sometimes Wheatley would fall back again into the bad habit of trying to boast about his hacking skills, while Garret would retort asking hard questions that would put Wheatley in a tight corner.
That would be so wonderful to see, I mean just because he’s human now doesn’t mean his personality has changed that much. He’s still going to need a little hard knock on the head once and awhile to get away from that old ego, plus I’d imagine Garret would offer to teach him how to hack instead, that way he actually has something to brag about. Seriously though Wheatley needs a good male friend, someone he can relate to and be a sort of good/slightly mischievous influence, Garret fits the bill there.
In the AU, Garret would ask Wheatley to tell his own POV about humanity to Foxglove, since he was once a former A.I and can relate to her in ways the other humans in town can’t.

Okay whoa, wow…I have never seen anything like this with this concept, in my mind I always imagined both in their human forms, but looking back at that chapter Waffles made no mention of their physical bodies. This makes imagining that particular scene a bit easier. I love this!
