I guess that long sleep really did me some good. Brain farts abound! Full view, this baby is big.
I nearly called it quits on this several times because his face was so damn hard to get right, he kept looking like a young Cave Johnson…with facial hair. :| I had to re-read all his parts in the fic trying to piece together a good composite. Were his eyes blue? Was he more tanned? Would it be okay if I took inspiration from Saltbay’s and Marshtwain’s versions while emulating Frank Tenney Johnson’s art-style? My mind was kind of all over the place with this thing. Still not satisfied with the hue/tones yet. lol paint swatches, messy-messy.
EDIT: Put a few more pics up from today. J’ is sleeping in the backseat, poor little thing is exhausted.

What Jarvis and I have been up to today, this is his first time with snow, climbing, stalking, jumping around, that kitten is a natural, I’m so proud he adapts so well to new environments. There’s also a ski lodge that I want to check out, I’m thinking of maybe taking my assistant up here for his birthday in March, he’s always wanted to learn how to ski (just keep me faaar away from it, thanks). They’re also pet friendly, so guess who’s going with us? It’s beautiful up here, one of those days where there’s no wind, just crisp mountain air. It’s still chilly though, I’m gonna get some hot cider in town in a bit.
Little known fact: A lot of the places I post, are live-posts. AKA We’re still on the mountain. Reception is great on this tablet.

Awww thank you! *hugs* I’m sorry for the sad feels, it’s not a happy AU. I’m not to happy with the lighting, but I do like how the ice-frost on the cyro-chamber came out.

I found this Converse store really close to my house. I couldn’t find any light blue converses in my shoe size, but I saw these adorable keychains! So I used them to make a cute little hood ornament, along with my Wheatley keychain.

Speaking of our soundtracks for Blue Sky, this song is wonderful and reminds me of the part in Chapter 13/14 where Wheatley transfers himself into Aperture. Especially the last minute and a half or so starting at 4:30 - listening to that while thinking about Foxglove sending Wheatley to Aperture literally gave me chills! I thought I should share with the class. :)

I can see why this reminds you of Foxglove and Wheatley, the almost hypnotic rhythm and repetition is very like a more melodious version of computerized boops and beeps, and the frantic energy and dramatic uplift at the end definitely speaks of his excitement and fear. Fantastic. :)
Oh gosh….this is beautiful. It reminds me of being underwater or something. I want to draw more art for that chapter now.
