Talk about opposites, tonight was anything but freaky though a little out of ordinary for me. I was given a special request to watch over one of the researcher’s daughters Melissa. She was waiting in the break-room and at first was a bit hesitant around me, but warmed up when she saw me doodling. Because I carry art-stuff with me for my long lulls and I have access to the office supplies, we had ourselves an art session. We drew lineart then traded it for one another to color, I taught her to blend colors, to improvise tools, and not be afraid to make a mess, because art is a science.
When her Dad came to pick her up she was very excited to show him what she created, and he was happy she had a great time. Sadly, she wanted to see me again, but her Dad said this was more or less a one time thing, he can’t always take her to work with him unless he had a special reason to like today. Aw well, it was a nice break from my usual duties, afterward I said my announcements that the facility is now closed, reviewed my video feeds of the hallways and locked up for the night.
