Do chickens sing? Because whenever I give Sam a piece of fruit to eat he/she makes the sweetest, happiest little sounds I’ve ever heard. Like it’s just ecstatic over the fact it’s eating a strawberry that he/she starts to sing.

” OMG! A strawberry! All to myself and it’s so sweet, praise the agricultural gods for this strawberry!”

I have a sneaky suspicion that I’m bothering people with my crappy art lately. Am I? Don’t be afraid to say it guys, it’s okay, this wouldn’t be the first time for me to hear it. If it’s bothering you at all please let me know. I don’t want to be one of those people who fills up someone’s dash with things they rather not see.

I have a three day weekend! Wooooo! About time too, I feel like I haven’t had any time to take care of myself, I look tired but I think it’s because I haven’t been sleeping well due to the heat. I’m going to fix my A/C’s waterline for sure, this gives me an excuse to go to Home Depot to fondle all the new dremels they brought in. I also need to buy some 2000 grit silicone carbide sandpaper. TMI: I don’t shave my legs, I sandpaper them instead. Smooth as polished metal. :3

Also, Ben’s sister is thinking of coming up to visit me, she’s never been to my house (omg I need to clean!!) and hears it’s a nice place to relax. I haven’t seen her in a whole year and Ben misses her terribly, I love they’re so close. Plus she’s so awesome and funny, 10 times more daring than her brother and has my sense of adventure. she’s like a cooler version of him, only female. I got a guestroom with a twin mattress that my Mom sleeps on when she visits, but I mentioned that Ben might have to sleep on the recliner, she said it’s not a problem, one bed is enough. It is? 0__o Well they’re siblings so I guess that’s okay. I can always get out an air mattress too.

Gah, I can’t wait, we’re gonna have a blast.

Unpopular opinion time: I have to agree, Cloverfield was a pretty crappy movie, I went to go watch it with a cousin and it felt a lot like a Godzilla ripoff from the 70s and the plot twist seemed like it was written by Shamalama-dingdong. Don’t even get me started on the ‘Shaky’ style of the film which should be called the ‘The Director letting his 5 year old son handle the camera’ style. I see it as a cheap way to cut costs in hiring a professional camera crew. I’ve also seen better SFX in a Hallmark Christmas special.

It’s okay if others like it, it’s a nice revisit in cheesy 50s B movies, but personally it was rubbish for me.

This is the major reason why I like drawing things for Fuchsiamae, I just imagine her smiling so hard and being so happy. Lord knows that girl needs more of that in her life, I can only hope I’m giving at least a smidge of that to her.
